This aerial cabaret performance is a love story of sorts .... between the She-Wolf and the Chicken !!

The act features a dynamic aerial sling routine to 'Hungry like the Wolf' by Duran Duran and climaxes with raw egg body smashing to 'Cream' by Prince' !!

Swinging from the Chandelier is Empress Stah’s signature performance piece, for which she received a Jerwood Circus Award. The Chandelier adds a sense of grandeur and decadence to any event, conjuring up the atmosphere of the greatest party of all times.

The following acts have been created, visually and thematically,  to go with the Chandelier, however if your event cannot accommodate the Chandelier then the acts may still be performed independently.

'Impermanence' is performed on aerial hoop to a song by the same name, composed by Othon Mataragas and sung by Ernesto Tomasini. This piece was originally conceived for a performance at the 'Wella Trend Vision Awards' at The Roundhouse, London and performed 4 days later for Philip Stark in Istanbul.

By far the most famous of Stah’s performances, this act is performed on an aerial Sling covered in red velvet and features her (optional) Diamond Pussy Encore!! The music is a montage of tracks including the recording of a Women having an Orgasm, Vienna by Ultra Vox, Love me Tender by Elvis, Sex by Peaches and Filthy Gorgeous by the Scissor Sisters.

Love to Love You is a strong, soft and sexy act, reminiscent of Studio 54, performed on aerial hoop, to the song of the same name by Donna Summer.

Blue Lights and Snow adorn the Chandelier to create a magical, wintery ambience for Stah to perform an aerial Hoop routine to Frozen by Madonna. The act begins with Stah entering with a flaming candelabra, she eats the she fire before beginning the aerial act.

Trash City Vampire is an aerial hoop act from my be-cobwebbed Chandelier which culminates with my infamous blood drinking 'Blood Shot' !! This performance was commissioned by Ruby Blues for her Glastonbury Festival field, were Empress Stah performed in The Drag Strip. Trash City later became a show produced by Leila Jones for The Roundhouse Circus Festival, again Stah played a leading Vampire and  performed her aerial act to 'The Death and Resurrection Show' by Killing Joke.

The Constellation is inspired by Empress Stah's ambition to perform in Zero Gravity. Creating the illusion that Stah is indeed floating around in space, The Constellation consists of seven illuminated, inflated stars that hang from a heptagonal steel structure. The Constellation provides a three dimensional performance space in which an aerial act is performed as well as a stunning set for ground based cabaret acts and themed events.

Below is a description of the aerial acts currently choreographed with The Constellation. The acts can also be performed without the Constellation if your event cannot accommodate it.

I lost my Heart to a Star Ship Trooper ... Flashing Lights in Hyper Space !!! This act is out of this world .... performed on black aerial sling to the song 'Star Ship Trooper' and yes it is performed in this costume with the futurist ball head !!

Inner Space is a high energy, dynamic, aerial Web Rope Spinning act, which has a massive ‘Wow’ factor and is performed to classic 90’s club anthem ‘Higher State of Consciousness’.  An optional video projection of  ‘Fractals’, which is a visual representation of infinity as described by chaos mathematics, can be projected over the body of Stah as she spins in the air.

The Starfish is an interactive inflatable with colour changing LED's that are programmed to match the beat of the music and the aerial choregraphy. The magic of this performance is that the Starfish inflates during the beginning of the act, growing out of seemingly nowhere, to the surprise and amazment of the audience.

This act was devised as part of Empress Stah's Arts Council of England funded Research and Development grant, to explore the themes of Space and Human Evolution. Performed on Aerial Sling, Stah is counterweighted by a rigger, enabling her to perform interactively with the Starfish.

Empress Stah performing on Silks is a recent addition to her aerial repertoire. A Black Silks Cocoon is featured in the show 'Bleeding Heart' below .... and stay tuned for her new masterpiece which is to be performed on Red Silks from the Chandelier.

An aerial cabaret act, originally devised for the Torture Garden Valentines Ball. Performed on a Black Silk Coccon I use red hair and red ribbons as a physical metaphor for blood. The act also contains body piercing, lip synching and ribbon dancing. Music includes tracks by Antony and the Johnsons,  La Roux and Kitten on the Keys.
