GLITCH - SYDNEHAM GREEN, SYDNEY
Zero Central Circus has been commissioned by Tortuga Studios in St Peters, to create a Theatrical, Aerial Performance Spectacle to be performed at this awesome event.
AUGUST 20TH from 4pm, it’s free and kind of family friendly ; )
“A playground with a distinctly maniacal bent – far from soft fall, plastic swings and the bubblegum scent of fun – this glitching kiddie corral channels the big questions that swirl around the creative culture of this city.
Brought to you by Tortuga Studios and Sydney's leading industrial artists, in association with EDGE Sydenham, GLITCH is a painfully playful commentary on the impact of COVID, gentrification and the loss of industrial space in the inner city.
Roll up. We dare you... “

ZERO CENTRAL CIRCUS
And for my next conjuring trick ……
I am creating a new Mobile Aerial Circus School !!!
Zero Central Circus will provide a positive, inclusive, non-competitive environment where young people and adults, are able to gain skills that promote physical fitness, alongside mind body coordination.
Learning and training aerial skills is fun and challenging. Inverting, balancing, spinning, climbing and twizzling aids in the development of physical and emotional stamina, building trust and confidence in the individual.
Zero Central Circus is starting out as a mobile aerial school, providing access to this activity in places which would not usually be able to accommodate it. The mobile aerial rigs we are using are suitable for learning foundational and transitional style moves, with a focus on building strength, flexibility and good technique.
